Terms & Conditions Policy
1. Introduction
Welcome to Hum and Strum Music School Akshayanagar ("we," "our," or "us"). By enrolling in
our music lessons and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the
following terms and conditions ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully.
2. Music Lesson Policies
2.1 Fees
● Advance Payment: All fees must be paid in advance.
● Late Fee: Fees received after the 7th of the month will incur a 5% late fee fine. ●
Non-Extendable: The fee plan will not be extended except medical emergencies. ●
Non-Refundable: Fees once paid are non-refundable under any circumstances.
2.2 Classes
● Class Options:
○ 1 Class/Week option is limited to 4 classes per month.
○ 2 Class/Week option is limited to 8 classes per month.
○ Crash Courses limited to 20 classes a month
● Makeup Classes:
○ One makeup class per month for 1 Class/Week.
○ Two makeup classes per month for 2 Classes/Week.
○ Makeup classes must be availed within the same month and cannot be
carried forward.
○ Makeup classes are scheduled based on the available timings of the faculty. If the
student misses the makeup class, no further makeup class will be provided.
● Substitute Teachers: The school reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher if the
regularly scheduled teacher is unavailable. If the school cannot arrange a substitute
teacher, any missed class will be made up at the school's expense.

2.3 Course Material & Books
● Materials: Certain lessons may require course materials and books. It is the
responsibility of the parent or student to print/purchase the required materials and
bring them to class.
● Exam Books: If appearing for an exam, students must purchase the original exam
book with backing tracks and bring it to class.
2.4 Classroom Policy
● Parental Access: Parents are not allowed inside the classrooms while classes are in
session. They may discuss any concerns with the teacher after the class.

● Discipline: Students are required to maintain discipline during the class. 3.
3. General Conditions
3.1 Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on our
website and will take effect immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review these
Terms periodically.
3.2 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India,
without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Cancellation Policy
1. Introduction
At Hum and Strum Music School - Akshayanagar ("we," "our," or "us"), we understand that
plans can change. This Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling
booked music classes and services on our online platform.
2. Class Cancellations by Students
2.1 Cancellation Notice
● Classes: Students must provide at least 24 hours' notice prior to the scheduled class time
to cancel.
● Packages/Monthly Subscriptions: For cancellations of package deals or monthly
subscriptions, notice must be given at least 7 days before the start of the new billing
cycle.
2.2 Refunds
● Classes: If cancellation notice is provided at least 24 hours in advance, the Make up -
class will be credited to your account as per the Makeup policy for future use. No
refunds will be issued.
● Packages/Monthly Subscriptions: Cancellations made at least 7 days before the new
billing cycle will receive a prorated credit for the remaining classes. No refunds will be
issued.
2.3 No-Show Policy

● Failure to attend a scheduled class without prior cancellation notice will result in the
forfeiture of the class fee, and no credits or refunds will be issued.
3. Class Cancellations by Hum and Strum Music School
3.1 Notice of Cancellation
● If we need to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness,
technical issues), we will provide as much notice as possible and offer an alternative
class time/makeup credit.
3.2 Refunds and Credits
● In the event of a cancellation by us, students will have the option to reschedule the
class or receive a full credit to their account for future use. Refunds will not be issued.
4. How to Cancel
To cancel a class, package, or event booking, please use one of the following methods:
● Online: Log in to your account on our website portal, navigate to your bookings, and
follow the cancellation prompts.
5. Amendments to the Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to amend this Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted
on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. It is your responsibility to review
this policy periodically.
